Our setting was established in 1989 and is owned by Lisa Egan and Cindy Shaw. The setting is run with a team of highly experienced long term staff who are NNEB, NVQ and First Aid trained. All staff are DBS checked.

Here at Rainbow we aim to provide a secure, warm and friendly atmosphere for your child to build their confidence and to help them have a positive attitude towards others. We encourage good manners, politeness and sharing but most importantly we aim to provide a stimulating educational environment that makes learning fun! The nursery has a comprehensive set of policies and procedures if you wish to see the full collection please ask for copies.

We are registered and inspected by Ofsted every four years and were very proud that we retained our OUTSTANDING grade in August 2025. The report is available to view online.
